1. Vehicle Reservations
All vehicle reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by Leadership Car Rentals.
Submitting a booking request through the website, WhatsApp, phone, email or any other platform does not automatically guarantee a reservation. A booking becomes confirmed only after our team has verified availability and communicated confirmation to the client.
2. Rental Requirements
Clients may be required to provide valid identification, a valid driver’s licence and any additional documentation requested before a vehicle is released.
Leadership Car Rentals reserves the right to decline a rental where the required documentation, payment or security conditions have not been satisfied.
3. Rental Period
Vehicles may be rented on a daily, weekly or monthly basis depending on the agreed booking.
The rental period begins and ends at the dates and times stated in the rental agreement. Extensions must be requested and approved before the original rental period expires.
Additional charges may apply to unauthorised late returns.
4. Payments & Security Deposits
Rental rates, deposits and payment terms will be communicated before confirmation of a booking.
Where a refundable security deposit is required, it will be returned after the vehicle has been inspected, provided there are no outstanding rental charges, damages, penalties or other liabilities associated with the rental.
5. Cancellations
Clients are encouraged to notify Leadership Car Rentals as early as possible when cancelling or changing a reservation.
Cancellation charges may apply depending on the vehicle, booking period, notice provided and any costs already incurred in preparing the vehicle for the rental.
Any applicable cancellation policy will be communicated during booking confirmation.
6. Use of Rental Vehicles
Rental vehicles must be used responsibly and only for lawful purposes.
Unless expressly authorised by Leadership Car Rentals, vehicles must not be:
- Used for illegal activities
- Used for racing, speed testing or dangerous driving
- Sub-rented or transferred to another person
- Driven by an unauthorised driver
- Used to transport prohibited or hazardous materials
- Taken outside approved locations or national borders without permission
- Intentionally driven in conditions likely to cause avoidable damage
The client is responsible for complying with applicable traffic laws while using the vehicle.
7. Fuel, Fines & Additional Charges
Unless otherwise agreed, vehicles should be returned according to the fuel arrangement communicated at the beginning of the rental.
The client remains responsible for traffic fines, parking penalties, towing fees or similar charges resulting from their use of the vehicle during the rental period.
Additional charges may apply for excessive cleaning, missing accessories, vehicle damage, late returns or other costs caused during the rental.
8. Accidents, Damage & Breakdown
Any accident, damage, theft or mechanical problem involving the vehicle must be reported to Leadership Car Rentals immediately.
Clients should not authorise major repairs or modifications without prior approval, except where necessary to prevent immediate danger.
Responsibility for damages will be determined according to the circumstances of the incident, the rental agreement and applicable insurance arrangements.
9. Insurance
Insurance coverage may vary depending on the vehicle and rental arrangement.
Clients will be informed of the applicable insurance conditions before or during the rental process. Insurance does not necessarily protect a client from liability where damage results from negligence, reckless driving, unauthorised use or violation of the rental agreement.
10. Vehicle Availability
While we aim to provide the exact vehicle reserved, circumstances such as maintenance, accidents, delayed returns or operational issues may occasionally affect availability.
Where reasonably possible, Leadership Car Rentals may provide a comparable alternative vehicle.
11. Motor Asset Management
Vehicle owners who participate in our Motor Asset Management Programme will enter into a separate agreement outlining matters such as:
- Vehicle eligibility
- Rental operations
- Revenue arrangements
- Maintenance responsibilities
- Insurance
- Vehicle inspections
- Reporting
- Owner responsibilities
- Contract duration
- Termination conditions
Information presented on this website about Motor Asset Management is intended as a general overview and does not replace the signed agreement between Leadership Car Rentals and the vehicle owner.
12. Website Information
We aim to keep information on this website accurate and current. However, vehicle availability, pricing, specifications, photographs, promotions and other information may change without prior notice.
Images displayed on the website may be representative, and the exact vehicle provided may vary where an equivalent replacement is necessary.
13. Limitation of Liability
Leadership Car Rentals will take reasonable measures to provide safe, properly maintained and reliable vehicles.
However, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be responsible for losses caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including road closures, severe weather, government restrictions, third-party actions or unexpected mechanical incidents.
Nothing in these Terms removes any rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
14. Personal Information
Information submitted through our website or booking channels may be used to process reservations, communicate with clients, manage rental services and fulfil legal or operational requirements.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with our applicable privacy practices.
15. Changes to These Terms
Leadership Car Rentals reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions when necessary.
Any revised version will become effective once published on this website, unless otherwise stated.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Cameroon.
Any dispute arising from our services should first be addressed through reasonable efforts between the client and Leadership Car Rentals before further legal action is considered.
